The Parish Council receives an annual precept from Somerset West and Taunton Council. For 2024/2025 the precept is £14,500. This figure is obtained by calculating proposed income and expenditure and ensuring that there are sufficient funds available for contingencies (items for which costs are not known or unexpected items).

The Parish Council’s accounts are internally audited twice a year and externally audited after 31 March each year.  Any member of the public can request to see any documentation presented to the auditors.  Information is posted on the Parish Council’s noticeboards, normally during May.
